Table D7 – The New One
It took five years for the D7 and D7K chairs to be developed to such a high standard that they could go into small-scale production. Since 2019, Martin Bereuter and Klemens Grund have been pursuing the idea of designing a table that matches the design language of the chairs.
And voilà... now it's here. In addition to its light weight, the table is characterised by a special communicative dimension. The central crease along the long edge serves as a natural pivot, fostering dialogue with those seated laterally – much like at a round or oval table.
The details of the D7 table are enchantingly beautiful. Not only the special design of the table edges, but also the custom-made brass fittings make the viewer's heartbeat faster.
